Renovation of the Fuji Baking Site in Japan with Novelio^®

Fuji Baking Group is a Japanese company specializing in the production of bread, cakes and bakery products for retail distribution and foodservice markets. As part of its ongoing commitment to improving its working environments, the group launched a project to renovate the office spaces at one of its sites in Japan.

As part of an initiative to enhance its interior spaces, Fuji Baking undertook a renovation project with the support of an interior designer. The works covered several areas of the site, including meeting rooms, the cafeteria, and employee break and living areas. The objective was to modernize these spaces while ensuring they remained well suited to everyday professional use.

For this project, Fuji Baking was looking for wall covering solutions suitable for both office environments and collective catering areas. The selected solutions needed to be durable, visually appealing and easy to install, while remaining compatible with local installation practices and commonly used adhesive tools.

The client also wanted to differentiate the solutions according to usage: a customizable, paintable solution for the cafeteria, and a ready‑to‑install solution for the meeting rooms.

ADFORS’ Novelio® solutions were selected to meet the project’s requirements. Several product references were used, depending on the areas to be renovated.

In the cafeteria and employee living areas, Fuji Baking chose:
Novelio® Standard T1005, a customizable, paintable wallcovering.

In the meeting rooms, the following solutions were used:
Novelio® Fusion T8014N and Novelio® Fusion T8018N, ready‑to‑install, pre‑styled wallcoverings.
