Novelio Nature® for Saint-Gobain Tower

France , Paris

6,600 m2 of Novelio® Nature wallcovering helped the Saint-Gobain Tower gain prestigious certifications

The Saint-Gobain Tower has been the first high-rise building in France to receive all four international sustainability certificates. The company's headquarters located in the famous La Defénse district of Paris has - from the beginning – been designed to be the most environmentally-friendly with a minimal energy and environmental footprint.

More than 80 products and solutions from the Saint-Gobain Group have been used in the construction of the 165-metre-high building, which was opened in 2020. The interiors’ design has also included highly functional Novelio® Nature Flair Almond wallcoverings from Saint-Gobain Adfors. Indeed, the walls of the offices on the 44 floors of the Paris skyscraper are now decorated with 6,600 m2 of wallcoverings. That's about 132 rolls of 50m x 1m.

Noveilo® Nature wallcoverings are made of fibreglass so they are ideal to use in offices. They are highly fire and impact resistant. They do not contain PVC and thanks to their unique CleanAir technology they absorb and neutralise formaldehydes that escape into the air from the furniture. As a result, they significantly improve the safety and quality of the working environment.
